Grant
Strategy Lead
A former biotech-scientist-turned web3 native, Grant is now the founder of blocmates.com – a web3 education platform that focuses on making crypto and DeFi accessible to anyone.
The big brains behind our operation, Grant is a living testament to the Web3nomads ethos as he’s currently living and working his way around Asia with his fiance and three dogs.
Grant’s a true Poolie and die-hard Hartlepool United supporter. He’s also a self-confessed fat boy who loves a Bintang.
Alex
Brand Communications Lead
Alex’s career has followed the marketing and communications trail from day one. He’s been on a tour through the varying industries of professional sport, craft beer and global brand campaigns before landing in web3.
The guiding voice behind Web3nomads, Alex works on making us look and sound good, wearing many other hats along the way.
He’s an armchair Boro fan, an enthusiast for good tunes, and a frequent sufferer of shin splints.
Mike
Operations Lead
Mike did it the hard way, leaping from a successful career in process engineering into the abyss of web3 on a full-time basis.
It all started with early investment advice from Grant and we’d like to say he’s never looked back, but that wouldn’t be entirely true. We’ve already tested his patience one too many times to mention.
Now, well-versed in DeFi knowledge, he utilizes a range of transferable skills in the web3 space and is very much the engine room of Web3nomads.
A series fanatic, festival goer and astonishingly bad footballer, Mike’s one of the good guys.
Ali
Technical Lead
A true jack of all trades and master of most. Ali started out in tech sales, before forming a grocery distribution company. He left all of that behind and is now an expert in all things web development as the founder and driving force behind Crypstak.com.
Ali’s a born explorer and wannabee coffee connoisseur. His role at Web3nomads is to make sure all our technical cogs are well-oiled and firing.
Currently based in Bali, Ali is also taking the slowmad lifestyle for a spin in true Web3nomads fashion. Can you spot a trend here?
