Director of Engineering at Kima

Kima is building a unique (patented) decentralized settlement layer, that connects other blockchains and financial reals together in a simple, compostable way.

Kima is looking for an experienced, senior Cosmos developer to build and lead the Kima R&D team.

You are:

1. A senior Cosmos developer with 2-3 years of experience in developing actual Cosmos blockchain infrastructure (not just smart contracts).
2. Deployed a Cosmos mainnet, and delivered production-ready code.
3. Recruited, tested, and vetted developers in the past.
4. Managed a team of at least 3 individuals.
5. Comfortable with remote workers.
6. Thriving in a startup environment.

Technical skills:

1. Deep understanding of blockchain technologies and concepts.
2. Understanding of basic DeFi primitives.
3. Knowledge and experience of Golang.
4. Work with open source code (github etc.).
5. Worked with cloud infrastructure providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
6. Experience in code reviews, pair programming, setting development tasks; scopes, and on-time delivery.
7. Ability to read whitepapers.
